Homework and Have a Great Weekend!

Hi Guys,

What a great week we had. I hope you enjoyed our first Friday Fun Day as much as I did. Believe it or not, we did not do half of the activities I had planned. That's okay. We'll save it for our next Friday Fun Day in two weeks (Valentines Day Edition).

Here's the homework that I'd like you to do for Monday:

1.  Finish up all unfinished blog work. Some of you haven't done any of the blog work. Here's your chance to catch up.

2.  Listen to my audio while you're reading the article "Teacher Man." Then answer all of the questions in the book. Then answer my question on the blog.

3.  On Monday, we'll listen to the lecture entitled "Stress and the Immune System." Review the vocabulary related to the lecture in ALE. You'll take notes and then I'll give you some questions to answer.

4.  There's going to be a vocabulary test early next week, maybe Tuesday. That's on the first 60 words of the list I gave you. Hopefully, you've taken my advice and have been learning 10 words a day. All of the words on the list are from the readings in our reading book. If you scroll down the blog, you will also find vocabulary slides to help you review the words.

5.  Please buy the book "Holes," by Louis Sachar. I'd like to start reading it this week.

So that's listening, reading, vocabulary... I guess that's it...
